Research interest

I am an assistant professor in the Department of Agribusiness and Agricultural Economics at the University of Manitoba. I did my undergraduate in Agricultural Engineering at the University of Buenos Aires. After working for three years in the Economic section of Agromercado in Argentina, I moved to the U.S. to pursue graduate studies. I completed a M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. Then I moved to Illinois and completed a M.Sc. in Statistics and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I joined the University of Manitoba in January 2009.

My research interests are in the areas of Price Analysis, Marketing, Futures Markets, Market Efficiency, Time Series Analysis, Risk Management, and Market Microstructure.
